A Place to Begin: A Free Trauma-Informed Coloring & Reflection Book

We’re excited to share something special with our community!

A Place to Begin is a free, 21-chapter trauma-informed coloring and reflection book created to offer gentle opportunities for personal exploration, creativity, and healing.

Inspired by the natural world, each chapter pairs an intricate coloring illustration with a thoughtful reflection exploring themes of emotional safety, relationships, resilience, self-compassion, and personal growth.

This book is for everyone.

Whether you’re navigating recovery, supporting someone you love, working in a helping profession, or simply looking for a peaceful creative activity, we hope these pages offer something meaningful.

There are no assignments, expectations, or right answers.

Color a little. Reflect a little. Take what feels helpful and leave the rest.

We invite you to print the book, enjoy it at your own pace, and share it with others who might appreciate it.

Because healing doesn’t have to happen all at once.

Sometimes, it simply needs a place to begin.
